Activating your licence

Where to find your key#

Your licence key is in your account dashboard. It looks like SLNC-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Keep it private.

Activate#

During install you're asked for the key. To activate later, go to Settings → Licence, paste the key, and click Activate. The panel confirms the plan, your support window, and the domain the licence is now bound to.

Move a licence to another server#

A licence activates one server at a time. To move it:

1. On the old server, open Settings → Licence and click Release activation.
2. On the new server, activate the key as above.

If you no longer have access to the old server, contact support to release the activation for you.

Common questions#

• "Licence already activated" — the key is bound to another server. Release it there first, or ask

support to release it.

• "Licence expired" — your support/updates window has lapsed. Renew from your dashboard to restore

updates; existing installs keep running.
